Hey everyone!!! i hope y'all are havin' a great weekend... i know i am. tomorrow's monday, not looking forward to it cuz its a white day... BLUH! but i am lookin forward to it because it'll be one less day to the end of school. very excited! i've been very stressed out lately, only because i went to state on Friday, and thats why. I was in an ensemble with 5 other girls, (Ashley O., Mary Beth, Alyssa, Krystal, Kelsey, and I) and we were all getting really excited for it, but I was getting really bored and tired of practicing. We did an alright job, we got a 2 (B on a grading scale...kind of) but we were very happy because 5/6 of us were freshman. Another set of good news is, I made the All-State 9th & 10th grade Honor Choir. That's this summer, I sent in a tape to the state, and they listened to it, and I was a selected 9th grader, I was very happy and excited. I don't know how many other people made it... but i'm sure there is A LOT! so... hopefully it won't be like the district stuff i've made every year (that stuff usually doesn't go that well). Cheerleading practice starts May 27th--- i think...thats what anna told me, and i can't wait for that. but...to sum this thing up I'm gonna put some upcoming dates below, just so you can see what you can come to.

May 1st- after today 17 more days left of school

May 6th- Band banquet and lock-in

May 7th- First day of ticket selling at Center Stage for the recitals, going to Worlds of Fun for band competition---- EeEk!

May 8th- Band recital, i think it's at 7 pm. Bronco gets owned by someone tonight! good luck!!

May 15th- Anna's 15th b-day

May 24th- WARRENSBURG'S LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!

May 26th- first night of Center Stage's dance recitals--- COME COME COME!!! everyone's invited! i perform my ballet dance this night--- it's a beautiful piece!

May 27th- Second and final night of Center Stage's dance recitals--- COME COME COME!!! tonight i'm performing my jazz dance! super cute and fun dance-- it's so hot it's on FiRe- we're dancing to Fire by Jimi Hendrix.

Yeah this weekend was alright. Wish i could've done way better, but i had districts on friday night. My ensemble got a 1 (a 1 is like an A). But i screwed up. I forgot my words in the middle of the song, i was very disappointed and agrivated, but i got a 2. I'm not going to state for my solo, but i am with my ensemble. Thanks girls for being with me and working with me. Sorry if i get agrivated with you, i just get really stressed if it doesn't meet my "standards". which shouldn't even matter. oh yeah, if you wondering what the heck an ensemble is, it consists of 3 or more people in a group singing or playing an instrument performing the same song. the girls in my ensemble are Alyssa Harris, Kristal Thurm, Mary Beth Harper, Ashley Oliver, and Kelsey Sweitzer. We did great, and Congradulations Mary Beth for making it to state with your solo!

sometimes i wonder how someone so close can leave you for someone else... some days it really feels like that. but i love you so much. and i bet your thinking i'm really mad at you, but i'm not.... i'm not mad, i'm upset, but people get upset and thats the way life goes. Hey everyone!

------------well... this is how my week has gone-----------

Sunday: Super Bowl---really boring!!

Monday: School- of course, it was a good day though, didn't have to present in speech...... YES!

Tuesday: Unfortunate band concert, had to miss jazz class (dance) because of it---- made me mad, had a headache all day. Got sick during the concert. My brother Jeff won his wrestling match-- VERY PROUD OF MY BIG BROTHER!

Wednesday (today): stayed home from school, got a stomache flu or something, not feeling to bright. I have ballet, definately going because we're starting our dance for the recital- which by the way for those of you wanting to come, the days are on May 26th and 27th! EVERYBODY IS INVITED!

Thursday: Nothing happened, really boring day... soo tired!

Friday: I have to perform my show choir show at Northside Christian Church for a Nathan's Quest benefit dinner. we're performing at 5:50-6 pm.

Saturday: probably going to Anna's. or doing something with her, who knows, maybe something else
